Camera (FAM - Frame, Angle, Movement) is used in this clip by the start scene only using audio. There is a track shot used that follows children as they walk through the streets. There are close ups on posters inside a school. There is a pedestal up shot from newspaper to face.

Editing (STOPS - Screen-time, Transitions, Order, Pace, Special Effects) is used by the black boy getting the majority of the screen-time, as well as a lot of screen-time devoted to violence. There is text on screen displaying titles and actors name. Transitions displaying pictures of crime can be seen. Blood dissolves to drawings. The order of this is going to school, at school then on their way home. It is slow paced to take in everything. There is white text on a black screen.

Mise En Scene (CLAMPS - Costume, Lighting, Actors, Make-Up, Props, Settings) is used by teachers and kids having smart clothes. Lighting was dark other than when outside. With a stop sign being shown, to symbolise the want to stop crime, as well as blood and poster with gunshots and a black mother can be seen on the phone.

Sound (MCDOVED - Music, Contrapuntal/Parallel, Diagetic/Non-Diagetic, Off-Screen, Voiceover, Emotion, Dialogue) is used by the gunshots signalled, slight music as entering school, train sounds and discriminatory words.
